Find clarity and confidence – Therapy for stress, anxiety, and emotional balance.
Welcome to Wood Sorrel Wellness – Compassionate therapist for self-discovery and emotional healing.

TO WOOD SORREL WELLNESS

Hi, I’m Erin Harrison, and I’m so glad you’re here. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, you’re not alone. At Wood Sorrel Wellness, my mission is to offer a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported—without judgment, without pretense.

Therapy isn’t about fixing you—because you’re not broken. It’s about creating a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and beliefs that shape your experiences, untangle the challenges that weigh you down, and help you move toward a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling. I offer compassionate therapy for anxiety, grief, life transitions, boundary setting, burnout and more.

In a world overflowing with wellness trends and Instagram advice, I offer a grounded, real-world approach rooted in connection and authenticity. Here, you’ll find a space to be seen, heard, and supported—no judgment, just honest and compassionate care.

WSW PHILOSOPHY

Like the Wood Sorrel wildflower—resilient yet delicate—you hold an inherent strength, even in life’s most challenging seasons. My goal is to help you recognize and tap into that strength, providing a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow.

HOW I CAN HELP

I know reaching out for support isn’t easy. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, grief, loneliness, or navigating a big life transition, my goal is to meet you where you are. I’ll help you untangle your challenges through compassionate listening and evidence-based tools and build momentum toward the life you want.

If you’ve been carrying shame, self-doubt, or feelings of isolation, you don’t have to hold it alone anymore. Together, we’ll work to create clarity, empowerment, and lasting change.

Practical Tools for Real-Life Growth

WORKSHOPS

Life’s transitions can leave us feeling stuck or uncertain, but you don’t have to navigate them alone. My workshops offer a space to reconnect with your values, build confidence, and develop real-life strategies for moving forward. Through honest discussions, interactive exercises, and strength-based tools, you’ll gain clarity and confidence to create meaningful change.

"Coaching vs. Therapy – Find the best fit for anxiety, life transitions, and personal growth.

COACHING -VS- COUNSELING

Deciding between coaching and counseling? Here’s the deal: workshops and coaching help you gain skills, clarity, and forward momentum, while counseling dives deeper into your personal history, emotional patterns, and healing process. Both are great tools—just depends on what you need right now.

Also, quick heads-up: counseling is only available for residents of NY or MA due to licensing rules, but workshops and coaching? Open to all.

Still not sure? No worries—I can help you figure out what’s the best fit.

Workshops & Coaching Might Be for You If...

  •  Feel like burnout is creeping in and need a reset.

  • Want to learn new tools and strategies at your own pace.

  • Struggle with negative self-talk and want to boost your confidence.

  • Wish you could respond (instead of react) when work, life, or parenting gets overwhelming.

Counseling Might Be for You If You...

  • Feel like you’ve lost yourself after a major life change (new parent, big transition, etc.).

  • Can’t seem to quiet racing thoughts or anxious feelings.

  • Are struggling with grief, loneliness, or heartbreak.

  • Worry about your child but don’t know how to get them to open up.

  • Have complicated family relationships that leave you feeling drained.

WORKSHOPS & COACHING: Focused on the Present & Future

Workshops and coaching aren’t therapy—they’re structured, skill-based sessions designed to help you build confidence, set boundaries, and create a life that feels more aligned. No deep dives into childhood wounds here—just real, practical tools to help you show up stronger in your daily life.

COUNSELING: Processing the Past to Heal in the Present

Counseling is about going deeper—understanding how your past experiences shape your present, working through old wounds, and finding ways to ease emotional suffering. Therapy offers that support if you need a space to be heard, unpack things, and start making real shifts.

WORKSHOPS OR COUNSELING

BOTTOM LINE

If you want structured guidance to help you move forward, workshops or coaching could be the way to go. If you need deeper emotional support and healing, counseling might be the better fit. And if you’re still unsure, let’s talk—I’ll help you sort it out.

Meet Erin Harrison – Licensed therapist in MA & NY specializing in anxiety, grief, and burnout.

THE WOMAN BEHIND WOOD SORREL WELLNESS

I’m Erin Harrison, a therapist, straight-shooter,  and believer in the messy, complicated beauty of being human. I started Wood Sorrel Wellness because I saw too many people—friends, family, clients—feeling stuck, weighed down by old stories, or simply exhausted from trying to hold it all together. I knew there had to be a way to make therapy feel less intimidating and more like what it truly is: a place to be heard, to make sense of things, and to figure out what’s next.

My approach? Honest, grounded, and human-to-human. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you (because you’re not broken). It’s about helping you untangle what’s been holding you back, recognize your resilience, and build a more aligned and fulfilling life. I’ll meet you with warmth and curiosity—but I won’t sugarcoat things either. Sometimes, you need someone outside of your regular life to hear you out and help “hold a mirror,” with compassion and maybe even a little humor.

If you’re looking for therapy that feels real, thoughtful, and actually useful in your everyday life, you’re in the right place. Let’s talk.

WHAT MY CLIENTS SAY

" Erin created a welcoming environment that made it easy for my young daughter to feel comfortable opening up about some tough issues revolving around family transition and separation. She offered some useful tools (which my daughter still practices on her own today) to help tame some of the anxiety she was undergoing. We are both very grateful for her help during a difficult time! She is great working with children and would highly recommend her. "

LET'S BEGIN

If you’re ready to take the first step toward living a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are, I’d love to walk that path with you. Therapy doesn’t have to feel daunting—it’s a conversation, a collaboration, and a way to reconnect with what really matters.
